Poem – Raindrops of Love

Raindrops of love
fall from above,
watering the land
that we may grow.
They fall from the sky
as if from tired eyes;
tears birthed in pain.
Patient, yet sometimes hard,
compassion looks on.

It is a merciful act.
Divine, saturation, satisfied,
steeped in emotions refreshed.
Tenderly sensitive . . .
endearment of heart,
refreshed by this drink.
Your collective pools
quench thirst by grace.
Now I see these droplets
alighted in new joy
for you and for me.
