Poem – Marrow

Oh Lord,
I ask that you
remember me always.
You are so kind and gentle.
Peaceable is your touch from within,
and now I would like You to add to Your fire.
That I be completely consumed in Your love.
Your goodness exceeds the hills of Your creations
and your words are medicine to the heart.
Marrow to the bone.
You are gracious,
this is why we bring
our burdens before You.
For in Your answer
under Your authority,
our souls are restored.
