Poem – Is There Grey?

What are these feelings that I feel?
Mixed emotions in a swirl.
To stand firm
or do I bend?
I’ve learned to love the truth
within its light.
Try to justify is plight,
but is there grey in black and white?
Shadow thoughts,
they are not right.
Am I to wait ’til life gets clear
while concerns await my attention?
Suspended fervor in an unsound mind,
grace will bring me through
as to know joy in life unkind.
Have patience, be kind,
Jesus conquers thoughts
one at a time.
