Poem – Thrive

What can this be?
Such a wonderful thing
is happening to me.
I did nothing to deserve it
or even to earn it.
I’m being changed
by no power of my own.

Finding love
fills an empty space.
Oh, it feels so good
to be alive!
From the inside out,
there is no doubt.
I’m being cared for
by thee divine plan.
I no longer have to survive.
My hand in His,
I know I’ll thrive.
