Poem – The Bridge

The Bridge
Wavy forward motion,
unstable in journey,
seemingly it never ends.
Age of progression smashed!
Time trapped!
Can’t get out shouts . . .
blurring, all uneasy,
it’s painfully incomplete!
Reality touches continually unseen!
Peace, but a moment,
hid beyond inside behind eyes.
A resting enjoyment, and then another
in a nonstop build on a sinking forever
towards an in-squint existence belong.
Once reached out to steady myself,
but addiction mother found friction.
Til’ cut in two, burned broken . . .
subsiding waves.
Stability, release, eternal life – breathe – ahhhh!
