Had a tiger of rage,
kept me in a cage,
but must look back.
Face the beast
through mangled mess.

For freedom’s song
to carry on.
Carry on.
On.

So I chased the tiger
which sprouted wings,
and into a dragon it turned.
Snapping teeth, claws!
Dragging me around,
I ask,
“Oh, where is my song?”

Do not ignore a hurt.
Slash, cut, bleed, unceasingly.
Away you look
pretending not to notice.
Yet you did.
I saw.

A heart bruised
when all is cold.
Upon the frozen
waterfall of all
without thaw.
Might it be yours?

It takes an outer
to an inner hug.
Thaw the freeze.
Let life flow.
Work it.
Live again,
you’re worth more!

Slay the dragon.
Hate the tiger!
Fill your soul,
love beyond
a sky of time,
enter heaven’s door.

See the eye
that knows your name
and answer,
a heart calls!
