Poem – The Snack
July 3, 2021Insight: Help in a Lonely Place
July 7, 2021At first, there was power in the air,
now I’m suffocating.
It’s stuffy in here.
Yet, to peel back the shell would break
up the atmosphere,
must be staying, still patient
then all will be formed,
coming together in order at my proper time.
I reach in to reach out and His Spirit takes
my heart.
Must remain unfrusterated
by embracing the love I seek
from this ordained place I’m in.
I’m starting to grow now,
my back is against the wall,
stretching my legs as I thrust forth my arms
breaking out from this space,
and when the sounds of crackling stops,
being whole I met my new surroundings.
As God created me to be for eggless,
without grace, I would not be formed as me
to leave this place.
